What these technologies do
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Local storage and session storage also allow a website to remember information on your device. Pixels and similar requests can send information about an interaction with the store to a service provider.
Why we use them
- Required functions: providing the store, maintaining your basket and checkout, protecting the service and remembering privacy choices. These functions are separate from optional analytics, personalisation and marketing.
- Personalisation: remembering optional preferences and showing products you have recently viewed.
- Analytics: understanding visits and interactions with the store and review features, so we can measure and improve them.
- Marketing: supporting advertising, attribution and other marketing features where the relevant permission is given.
Services used by the store
Shopify hosts our store and provides cart, checkout, security and privacy-choice services, as well as optional storefront analytics. Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled. Information about Shopify's technologies is available in Shopify's Cookie Policy; that provider-wide list is not a list of every cookie set on this store.
Judge.me supplies our customer-review features. Its connected analytics pixel can measure interactions with review widgets.
An Octane AI pixel is connected for analytics and marketing purposes. It is separate from the independently implemented Signature Style quiz on this site. Your cookie choices are separate from any choice to receive marketing emails or messages.
Recently viewed products and storage duration
When personalisation is permitted, our recently viewed feature can store up to ten product handles in your browser under the name recently-viewed. Product handles identify products, not your name or contact details. This local storage has no automatic expiry. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls.
Cookies and browser storage do not all last for the same period. Some cookies and session storage support a browsing session; other cookies have an expiry date. Your browser's site-data information shows the cookies and storage currently present on your device. Clearing site data can remove saved choices and may cause the consent banner to appear again.
Choose or change optional settings
Our cookie banner offers Accept, Decline and Manage preferences. Use Manage preferences to choose optional categories. You can reopen the controls using Cookie preferences in the footer, change your choices and save them, including withdrawing an earlier permission.
Changing your choice governs future use of optional technologies. It does not recall information already sent. Browser controls can also remove stored data or block cookies, but blocking technologies needed for a service you request can affect functions such as the basket or checkout.
